A very warm welcome to you…

👋 Welcome to Pride Palette, a newsletter dedicated to highlighting and celebrating queer artists and creatives, both past and present. From lesser-known historical figures whose work has shaped the art landscape, to contemporary LGBTQIA2S+ creatives breaking new ground, Pride Palette is your resource for discovering the vibrant diversity and influence of queer artistic expression.

It’s so nice to meet you!

🎨 I’m E.H., a queer collage and mixed media artist whose work has been featured in Cut Me Up Magazine (including a partnership between Cut Me Up Magazine and the Albany International Airport Art & Culture Program for its Souvenir art exhibition) and Printed Zine.

Parker, another queer mixed media artist, assists with writing, finding, and editing content. Although their art has yet to be published, they enjoy creating, especially with textiles such as macrame, crochet, and loop and loom weaving. As authors of the Pride Palette newsletter, we’re excited to offer a personal, thoughtful exploration of queer art through time—while offering readers insight into the ongoing journey of creating as a queer artist today. Whether you're here to explore the fascinating lives of queer artists and the rich history of queer art, discover contemporary queer artists, or gain insights on maintaining a personal creative practice, Pride Palette has something for you.
